BAL 2021
For this year, BAL focuses on curating Science-centric learning packets for high school students to help them understand their lessons more meaningfully and apply what they learn from their classes without necessarily requiring heavy internet usage during this distance learning setup. This encourages members to partake in the creation of supplementary learning materials geared towards the partner schools’ most essential learning competencies. In connection to this, the BAL Team envisions the release of the first set of modules in the first quarter of 2021.
Moreover, this project also envisions donating equipment to each partner school, depending on their need, to aid them with the production and dissemination of these learning materials. These include, but are not limited to, printers, photocopying machines, reams of paper, flash drives, and other school supplies and machines, whichever the partner schools deem fit for the betterment of their course delivery.

ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION
ATENEO CHEMISTRY SOCIETY
Founded in 1963, the Ateneo Chemistry Society, also known as ACheS, is the home organization of chemistry students and enthusiasts in the Ateneo de Manila University (AdMU). As a projects-based organization, ACheS is able to transform this normally challenging discipline into a whole new dimension, serving as a launchpad for social change. As a community that promotes social applications and appreciation of chemistry for social involvement towards progressive nation-building, this organization launches initiatives to promote camaraderie among its members, foster and cultivate excellence in chemistry and other fields, and stimulate scientific consciousness and thinking. Ultimately, ACheS commits to honing its members in becoming individuals capable of stirring changes to engage in a greater society with the use of chemistry.
